Happy Birthday Roderick!

Today Roderick turned 5 years old. Last year his little sister decided she wanted to join us for his birthday party so she decided to come 3 weeks early and was born the day before his birthday. He thought that was a great birthday present. He had a fun birthday party in moms hospital room. He was really excited to share his birthday with her this year. We will see how excited he is when he gets bigger. I think its going to be a real challenge as a mom. We will see how it goes as the years go by. He got a new bike for his birthday and says that he goes so fast on it that fire comes out of the back tire. We love you! Happy Birthday!

Adventures in the Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to J&J Nursery to the Pumpkin Patch. You get to go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch and then pick out your pumpkins. It is so fun, the kids loved it. It was so hard for them to decide which ones they wanted because there were so many to choose from. My Aunt Marnell and cousin Teressa and my mom came along with us. Thanks for all your help.

Happy Birthday Brandi!

Last Saturday Brandis husband Ed had a Surprise Birthday party for her. He spent lots of hours cooking up some great authentic Mexican food for everyone. It was great to see everyone and spend some time together. Brandi we hope you had a good time and had a great Birthday. We Love you!!

Weekend Getaway

This last weekend Rodrigo and I flew out to Las Vegas for a much needed weekend getaway. One of Rodrigos best freinds is an actor in Mexico and is directing a TV program in LA right now so Ramon and his sister with some other freinds drove to meet up with us in Vegas. We got tickets to see Stomp Out Loud. It was amazing, we have seen it 3 times now and everytime we have seen it, it is different which makes us want to keep seeing it. We also went shopping at the outlets and ate some amazing food. We had a lot of good laughs and didn't get much sleep. We stayed up Friday night for over 24 hours. It killed me but I survived. I don't think I have stayed up like that since High School. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa they took all 3 kids for the weekend. Thanks again Mom and Dad, the kids love staying at your house its a vacation for them. I hope we can go again soon and see our freinds from Mexico. I miss them already. We really cheerish our freindship with them and we want to say thanks for a great trip we love you guys and miss you.

I am so excited for her, it was so fun spending the day with them. It was also Josies birthday that same day so we sang to her and she got some amazing birthday/wedding cake. Brandi even gave her some flowers. They were really for the wedding but hey it worked out perfect. Its fun to say Mandi Sanchez and Brandi Lopez who would of ever thought that we would both marry handsome men from Mexico. Congrats to Mr and Mrs Lopez and Happy Birthday Jos. Surprise!!!

On Saturday we surprised Roderick and Lexie by taking them to the Greatest Show on Earth, The Circus. We had told Roderick on Friday that we had a surprise for him on Saturday and he was going to love it. When we got to the Energy Solutions building and found our seats he still didn't know where he was or what was going on until it started and the elephants and horses and clowns ect started coming out and he had the biggest smile on his face ever. He started yelling and waving his arms around saying yeah the circus. I havn't been to the circus for years so I didn't really know what to expect, but it was awesome. I felt like a little kid again watching all the acts and animales. The kids loved it and it was fun to watch them because of the expressions on there faces. Lexi just kept saying,"Mom, Look Mom Look" there was so much going on.
