Christmas Downtown
Our friend Ramon came to visit us once more from Mexico. We were hoping that it would snow while he was here, he has only seen the snow a few times in his whole lifetime. He arrived on Thanksgiving and stayed with us for just about a week. We weren't lucky enough to see snow but we did take him to the very top of Big Cotton Wood canyon to see a little bit of snow. He really enjoyed his stay. We took him downtown to see the lights at Temple Square he couldn't believe how amazing and beautiful it was. The kids also really enjoyed looking at the lights but it was a bit chilly outside. I love going downtown during Christmas it really gives me the Christmas spirit. We also went to the gateway and watched people running through the fountain, they were having a blast but I thought they were crazy!
Enjoying the Weather!
On Saturday we went up to my moms to help out in the yard since she had surgery on her shoulder and my dad wasn't feeling to well. I couldn't believe that I was out racking leaves in December and not feeling cold. It was so nice to have the kids outside playing and taking in the sunshine. We had a good time jumping in the leaves and being with Grandma and Grandpa.

Happy Birthday Roderick!
Today Roderick turned 5 years old. Last year his little sister decided she wanted to join us for his birthday party so she decided to come 3 weeks early and was born the day before his birthday. He thought that was a great birthday present. He had a fun birthday party in moms hospital room. He was really excited to share his birthday with her this year. We will see how excited he is when he gets bigger. I think its going to be a real challenge as a mom. We will see how it goes as the years go by. He got a new bike for his birthday and says that he goes so fast on it that fire comes out of the back tire. We love you! Happy Birthday!
