Gardening with Grandpa Pork

My Grandpa had to have surgery last week and get his gallbladder taken out.  He is such a trooper. He will be turning 90 this year and he was out in his garden a few days after he had the surgery. He just amazes me, he is such a go getter and he can't stand to be sitting down for very long.  He is such a hard worker.   We went down and the kids and my mom helped him finish up his planting.

Happy Birthday Elder Glover

One thing that I have started to do with the missionaries is make cakes for them when it is there birthday.  It was Elder Glover's birthday last week so I made him a dirt bike cake for his birthday when they came to do the lesson.  He has been riding and competing in dirt biking since he was about 3 years old.  He was so surprised by his cake.  I was so excited to make it for him.  We sure love the missionaries.

Team Glory

Lexi had her first softball game last night.  She did so well.  Her team name is Glory.  It was fun to see her play on a team.  It's always fun watching children learn how to play a new sport.  Way to go Lexi!

I went to check on the kids and found that Maya had put on her jacket sometime during the night.  She must  of been cold.

Here are some pictures from Easter. I am a little late on getting them posted.  The kids were invited to go to a night Easter egg hunt.  They were told to bring there baskets and flashlights.  So at 9:00 Pm the hunt started.  It was so much fun.  The eggs were everywhere.  We also went to Grandpa Porks for our annual Easter Egg hunt that the kids enjoy.  It was so much fun getting the kids dressed up to go to church.
